Circles of Rhythm’s mission is to inspire human connection, health and wellbeing through community drumming. Since 1997, Circles of Rhythm has hosted their community drum circle event every Friday night, making it one of Canada’s top Drum Circle gatherings!

WHAT IS A DRUM CIRCLE?
Drum circles are musical gatherings in which people of all ages and skill levels come together to play hand drums, percussion instruments, and other rhythm-based instruments in an improvised and collaborative way. The focus of a drum circle is on creating rhythmic patterns and group harmony rather than performance, and they can be used for various purposes including team-building, stress relief, and community building.
WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE ICDC (i.e. The Friday Night Drum Circle)?
The Friday Night Drum Circle was designed to be an inclusive and fun space for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together and connect through music and rhythm-making, whether they are experienced drummers or novices.
